TRANSPORT is a guitar driven rock band that delivers a fresh and surprising collision of riffs, melody and lyrical twists in the tradition of the great 3 pieces of history, from the Jimi Hendrix Experience to Primus; from Nirvana to Muse.

In the era of the ipod it is natural to expect bands to be eclectic in nature. Just as you can listen to an mp3 player on shuffle and hear power pop followed by hard rock, rap and funk, so too you can hear a wide range of seemingly contradictory influences at play in Transport.

Transport's most recent release is self-titled 5 track E.P. distributed through Australia's largest independent label, Shock Records . The first single off this E.P. "Sunday Driver" has spent 5 consecutive week's in the top ten Triple J's (Australia's national youth broadcaster) Net 50, and also been the most requested song on the Super Requests show. When posted for download on Triple J's site, it broke the record for the highest amount of downloads for a song in Triple J history.

This E.P. will be now released on UK label Moseley Sounds later this year.
